BUILDGEN NIGERIA LIMITED established in 2014, is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of steel products in Nigeria. The Company is a part of the Sun Group of companies that has had a presence in Nigeria since 1971.
Buildgen manufactures ERW Steel Pipes & Tubes in Rectangular, Round and Square profiles. Buildgen also produces Steel Sheets, C Z and U Purlins for roofing as well as Roller Shutters. The Company manufactures the Sheets, Tubes, Pipes and Purlins using Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled and Galvanized Steel.
Buildgen is managed by a team of professionals with an average experience of twenty to thirty years in the steel industry from Africa and India. The company’s factory and stock yard is located on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway in Ogun State where it employs hundreds of local staff.

Buildgen began distributing Steel products in early 2018 and today supplies customers with a wide variety of premium quality steel products.
Buildgen offers structural steel (long) products (angles, beams, channels, columns and rebars) for the construction and industrial sectors as well as for the stockists in the wholesale trade. In addition, the Company also offers flat steel products (such as hot/cold rolled coils and sheets as well as chequered sheets) to companies from varying industries including construction, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, cement plants, aluminium smelters, storage depots, truck bodies and other fabricators.
Buildgen has emerged as a major player in the steel sector and the Company is focused on expanding its share and product portfolio in this sector whilst simultaneously maintaining excellent customer service standards.
